COMMERCIAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES (CTMA) Cooperative Agreements:
Universal Synaptics utilizes the CTMA Cooperative Agreement (CA) process to deploy Intermittent Fault Detection technology to the DoD sustainment community. This collaboration through CAs allows for IFD technology promotion, development, demonstration, and transition to the sustainment community supporting the warfighter. Cooperative Agreements are legal agreements to conduct R&D that is mutually beneficial for all while getting new, innovative technologies into the hands of those improving materiel readiness across all DoD services.
SeaPort-e:

Universal Synaptics is a sub-contracting team member for SeaPort-e which is the United States Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corps, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) compete their service requirements amongst 1800+ SeaPort-e IDIQ multiple award contract holders. The SeaPort-e portal provides a standardized, efficient means of soliciting offers from amongst the diverse population of large and small businesses and their approved team members. All task orders are competitively solicited, awarded and managed using the SeaPort-e platform. Since nearly 85% of its contract–holders are small businesses, the SeaPort-e approach to acquiring services provides opportunity that fuels the Nation’s engine of job growth.

Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Sole Source Set-asides:

Universal Synaptics is a sub-contractor to Global Consulting International (GCI) an 8(a) small, disadvantaged business, certified through the Small Business Administration (SBA) program with a graduation date in 2016. The 8(a) program is SBA’s effort to promote equal access for socially and economically disadvantaged individuals to participate in the business sector of the nation’s economy.

Any government client can utilize the 8(a) program to rapidly get a contract in place up to $3.5M with GCI and Universal Synaptics.
